Bella Urso and Brooke Stanton each scored 20 points to lead Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops past Greensburg Central Catholic, 65-53, on Sunday at Bethel Park High School.

Trailing 12-4, Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops went on a 17-point run to take the lead. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops had a strong first half, leading 35-28 at halftime and never looked back, securing the victory.

Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops scored at will in the paint. They went 19-33 on twos. Stanton hit four threes for Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops passed the ball well with 19 assists on 24 made baskets. Faye Saunders led the team with seven assists.

Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops stood tall, blocking four shots in the game. Saunders led the team with four blocks. Saunders collected 10 boards to lead Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops on the glass.
