Um, excuse me while I cry a little! We still have movies and a pizza party, but today was our last day to cheer and perform for the season. Brookie is my first 3 year middle schooler! She was the only 6th grader and such a shy thing! She has grown so much into a confident and dedicated, sometimes sassy and crazy thing! (Bathroom sink...cough, cough).
I only had Alyssa for 2 years, but her growth in that time has been huge! She still stumbles over her own feet sometimes, but she laughs it off and cleans it for the next time. She's very reliable for everyone and shows how much she wants to be there (even if she'd rather be talking about boys!). These two have been my very goofy, but reliable right hand ladies! I also love that they have made such a friendship that wouldn't have been without cheer!

I plan to get pictures with my other girls that are continuing on next week (I have one, but she said not to use THAT one coach)! So I'll just post full team ones with me for now! I'm sad that I didn't get pictures with my 8th graders from the last two years, but I feel like this year was a tiny bit more special because I was more on my own than the previous years. Either way, they're all special to me! Even the ones that bring ALL the attitude! The confidence that these kids walk out with compared to the day they walk in makes the time spent worth it! 💙🤍

These phenomenal cheerleaders wrapped up boys basketball season today with not 1, but 2 games for the championship! Despite the long day, they kept up their spirits and slayed both sidelines and halftime! Girls basketball games are comin' in hot starting on January 16th!
