A 10th Degree Grandmaster in the Hawaiian Ancient Art of Kaihewalu Lua, a Trainer of Champions for over 40 years in Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Boxing. Trained Pro & Amateur fighters and schooled 1000s of martial art students in self defense.

To my students today and my past GM Kumu Coach David creating Hawaiian war weapons with my Black Belt student Robbie. The craftsmen ship of my student is impeccable. Throughout my 54 years of training with O’ Kaihewalu Lua and my 40 years influence in teaching the art of Lua in the SanFernando Valley I’ve been blessed with students and Black Belts like Robbie who continue to show their appreciation throughout the years. I’ve built 3 Halau’s (schools) in the Valley, two in Encino and one Tarzana, he’s been there for me I’ve been blessed with his knowledge. He has given his Aloha towards the old ways of the fighting arts of Hawaii by sharing his creativeness with wood crafting. I’m so proud to have been blessed to have a Black belt 40 years and friendship with this student. A master craftsmen, a Black Belt and he continues to impress me , Kudos and blessings my friend. We’re weeks away from finalizing a traditional Leiomano, a tribal war club both using Tiger shark teeth and one original creation called a Tunfa-paddle with Mako shark teeth this weapon was creation from my experience using a tunfa in the past all made with Kia wood We’re close to the finish line.
