Starting to get the hang of the retirement thing.. still want to do some of the "stuff"...... House is coming along... roof is on, garage door arrived, the fireplace is set, plumber is starting his part.... and we are still camping... LOL... The river has been running high, tried a bit of fishing the other day... stayed dry for a change!

And life goes on here in Libby, Mt……. Building is progressing, getting the roof waterproof, with some wind, caused a bit of a problem……River still running high around 13,000 cubic feet per second, and the 4 goose families are still hanging around. I did an attempt at fishing the inside river…. you can see the results on my page….. met with the plumbers, heating / AC guy, and the electrician to decide where to put “stuff”…. cabinets and windows could still be out 3-4 months…. sucks! Thanks JOE!…but, we did have our first cocktails in the building. Full moon pic over the river…. from early this morning. Maria had 3 deer near the trailer when she stepped out early this am…..

Back from our trip south the spend some time with family and friends, while we were gone, they got the trusses up, and yesterday started on the plywood….. next week, hoping to have the roofing done, then the subs will start…… Water temp on the river is 38.5, but the water flow from the dam was 4200 when we left, now up to 8160 cubic feet per second…. have a goose family on the island, and watching them grow… ducks and deer have been on the island as well. We are now living in the 25ft trailer, and it is not too bad…. little interesting in some things….. Rained last night, and might rain again over the weekend…. see what weather patterns come from the west…..Our house in Cannon Beach has sold, and has new owners……

this week, all the walls are up, interior walls are framed in, and the trusses have arrived! More back fill and work dirt.... next week the porches will be poured and the garage slab poured as well. Then, they will start on the roof...... might be a slow week..... but not for the guys doing the work!

We had some snow flurries this morning, rain in the afternoon, some sun in the evening… Current water temp is 38.5, air temp 41 and cloudy, River is running 4160 cubic ft. per sec.,

The house is progressing, walls poured for the house, garage gets poured next week….. after April 24th, we will move into our 25ft trailer….. until the house is ready to move into…. everyday is a new adventure……

On the Kootenai River...... made some changes in the building, but moving forward.... weather here is beautiful.... 50'...

Last surf report from CB, Leaving town early in the am to start the next adventure in NW Montana……CB has been great, tons of great people we have met over the years, and a beautiful area!
This morning, 42 and cloudy, WNW 4.3ft@ 8-10 sec’s with light SW winds, water temp at 48.7, high tide was at 5:43am, sunrise at 7:07am. This afternoon, W 5-6 ft@ 12 sec’s with SSW winds 5-10mph, high of 52 and cloudy, minus low tide @ 1:26pm. Tonight W 7ft@ 13 sec’s with SSE winds 5-10mph, sunset at 7:35p and high tide at 8:32p.

Still busy packing…. the garage sale is pretty much done, still some asst furniture to move….. This morning 43 and cloudy, WNW 16.7ft@ 12.6-17 sec’s with SSW winds 5-10mph. Water temp at 48.6, low tide was at 5:05am, sunrise at 7:21am and high tide at 10:48am. This afternoon W 11ft@16 sec’s with WSW winds 10-15mph, high of 49 and 40% chance of rain, minus low tide at 5:46pm. Tonight W 10ft @ 14 sec’s with WSW winds 5-10mph, low of 44 and 50% chance of rain, sunset at 7:21p and high tide at midnight.

Wednesday: W 8ft@13 sec’s with SW winds 5-10mph, 42/52 and partly cloudy
Thursday: W 7-8ft@ 11 sec’s with S winds 10-15mph, 41/49 and 50% chance of rain
Friday: W 6ft@13 sec’s with S winds 20-25mph, 44/51 and 70%
Saturday: W 8ft@12 sec’s with NNW Winds 15-20mph, 41/47, 70%
