Wow! At today's NHS Induction Ceremony, CHS Swim Team athletes accounted for 9 out of the 50 inductees! This is testament to how hard these amazing students work both in the pool and in the classroom. Seven Canfield Cardinals Qualify for USA Swimming NCSA National Championships in Orlando, Florida!

Kenzie RONYAK (13), Anthony DiRENZO (14), Antonio MORETTI (14), Jonah GALVIN (13), Virginia FIFFICK (12), Savannah HARDMAN (11), and Lyla MORRISON (11) have the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in age-group swimming. NCSA (National Club Swimming Association) Championships will be held March 25-29 2026, at The Rosen Aquatic Center in Orlando, Florida.

USA Swimming NCSA is a high-level championship meet that features some of the fastest swimmers in the country, where qualifying time standards are required to enter into the competition.

Kenzie RONYAK will swim the
50y backstroke, 100y backstroke, 50y freestyle, 100y freestyle, 50y butterfly, 100y butterfly, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, and the 200 Freestyle Relay.

Two Canfield Cardinals Qualify for USA Swimming SPEEDO Sectionals

Two members of the Canfield Cardinals swim team have earned the opportunity to compete on one of the biggest stages in regional swimming.

Sophomore Matea RONYAK and junior Lyla GRAY have both qualified for the prestigious USA Swimming SPEEDO Sectionals, which will be held July 15-19, 2026, at The Ohio State University.

USA Swimming SPEEDO Sectionals is a high-level championship meet that features some of the fastest swimmers in the region and serves as a stepping stone to national-level competition.

The meet will take place at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Congratulations to our CHS Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay team on an incredible finish at the OHSAA Division II State Championships! 🏊‍♀️🔥

Gianna Gamberale, Lyla Gray, Matea Ronyak, and Josie Protain raced their way to a 13th place finish in the state — an outstanding accomplishment on Ohio’s biggest stage!

Competing among the best teams in the state and representing Canfield with heart, determination, and teamwork makes this achievement even more special. We are so proud of the work you put in all season to earn this moment. ❤️🖤
