✈️ 🥎 The All-Western NC softball team was just posted and 3 of our Sugar Jets took home probably the toughest post season accolade there is to receive. We are extremely proud of these 3 Sugar Jets and all our State Champion Sugar Jets. Let’s dive in and meet each one of them Averi Coggins, Savannah Frisbee and Baylee Edney.
#8 Averi Coggins just finished her Senior campaign where she has had a tremendous career as a 4 year varsity starter. She has been a 4 time All Conference selection, 4 time All-WNC selection, 3 time All-District and 3 time All-State player, they won’t post this years until next month. She was the 2025 All-WNC, All-District and All-State Player of the year and this seasons Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year. We are so proud of her and all the energy and passion she has brought to Enka softball.

#15 Savannah Frisbee just finished her Sophomore season and has been a force since stepping in the circle. She has been a 2 time All-Conference selection, 2 time All-WNC, received All-District and All-State selection last year, those selections will be posted next month. She was last years District Pitcher of the Year and this seasons Mountain Athletic Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year. She not only is our Ace on the mound she is also a big bat for us in the lineup. She has had two great years setting the tone and bringing the energy to the circle and the batting lineup for our Sugar Jets.

#6 Baylee Edney just finished her Freshman season and has made a name for herself as one of the top power hitters in the mountains. It didn’t take her long to get settled in and start putting up some pretty amazing stats especially for a freshman. She was an important piece to our puzzle and can’t wait to watch her grow in the years to come. Baylee was also an All-conference selection this season. Her stats are as follows.
