The FLX Open - Bowling Tournament

If you haven't heard... We will be hosting the Lilac City Tournament this year. Ray, Bonnie, and Chris have the office set up and ready to make your reservation! We will be reaching out to squad leaders in the coming weeks to book your squads for this busy tournament! We will be having our special proprietor's squads on May 6th and 13th.

Hello Lilac Bowlers!

First and foremost, I want to pass along my sincerest “Thank You” for your patience during this move to Roseland Bowl. We are finally up and running again, our network is back up and phone lines are active. And our Entry Forms are now online at www.lilactour.com. The forms have been redesigned, and some squad times were adjusted as we are now oiling each and every squad. The new times are listed on the forms.

We are currently working on the reservations as there were many pre-booked reservations, originally booked on 48 lanes. To give a little meaning to this and future calls for reservations, I’ll explain the set up at Roseland.

Roseland has 42 lanes, however, 8 are sectioned off for Birthday and Corporate parties. The main center has AMF Synthetic lanes with wood approaches, The sectioned off 8 lanes utilize Brunswick Anvilane on the lanes and approaches. These simply will not play the same so we are using the 8 lanes exclusively for the No-Tap, which will now be offered all weekend. This leaves us with 34 lanes for the Lilac.
This is not an issue on many weekends but is on some weekends with our groups that book the same dates and times each year. We are doing our best to amicably come up with solutions. This also means that many squads are now maxed out so those needing reservations should have options in mind when calling.

I would also like you all to welcome Chris Buonaugurio, who will be the new Tournament Director as I move to an Advisory position. Chris is well versed with tournaments, and you may remember him from the Wild Irish Rose and the FLX Tournament. Chris, Bonnie and I, as well as the entire staff at Roseland Bowl are very excited about this year and looking forward to seeing everyone at this year’s Lilac. FLX Open Prize Checks are here and ready for pickup - they may be picked up Monday 12pm-10pm, Tuesday 12pm-10pm, Thursday 5-10pm, or Friday 9am-11pm. Any checks not picked up will be mailed starting next Monday August 11th. Bowlers who earned over $600 must submit a W-9 to us when picking up a check or will be mailed one that must be returned before their checks will be mailed. Thanks for bowling with us again this year!

Good Evening bowlers, we just finalized the 2025 FLX Open Bowling Tournament. Below is the prize list we will pay out over $55,000 this year. Congratulations to all the prize winners, and a huge thanks to all the bowlers and group leaders who came out and made this tournament a huge success again. We will be posting complete results as well later tonight. Checks will be mailed out on August 4th, 2025. Bowler have until July 29th to setup in person pick up.

FLX Bowlers, here are the UNOFFICIAL top results all bowlers on these pages are projected to receive prize money. We will be verifying averages and memberships over the next couple of weeks. Bowlers if you expect to receive $600 or more and we do not have your Socials you can call Tim or Matt over the next couple of weeks to verify socials. We plan on having checks ready by August 4th, 2025. We cannot stress this enough this is still UNOFFICIAL! Bowlers and teams might see average adjustments and possible disqualifications, please contact Tim or Matt if you know of any possible issues.

FLX Bowlers, here are the top standings with current projected low to cashes going into the final weekend. We have squads Saturday (7/5/25) at 10am Team, 2pm Doubles & Singles, 5:30pm either Team or Doubles & Singles and Sunday (7/6/25) (FINAL DAY) at 10am (either event), 2pm (either event). Bowler, please remember that low to cashes can always change. This will be the final Top Standings before the FLX Open ends. If you are looking to bowl please call Roseland Bowl (585)-394-5050 to confirm details for the squads this weekend.

We just finished updating the standings (with projected low to cashes). We just wanted to thank Khimberle Guy and her group from Syracuse that bowled this weekend, along with Anthony Scaccia and his group from Albany that also bowled on Sunday. Below are UNOFFICIAL standings (we have another two weekends to go). We have one last Wednesday evening squad tomorrow night at 6:30pm.

Bowlers, thanks for reaching out. Matt was in the center and he resorted all of the bonus singles & combine events and corrected all the event standings. So we are confident in this photos of the current top standings. If you are looking to bowl this weekend, we have 1 spot for 10am Team Event and 2 spots for 2pm Doubles & Singles. 5:30pm squad is wide open along with Friday's 6:30pm squads and both Sunday squads (10am & 2pm). Spots are limited for Saturday due to Roseland also hosting the NYFTY tournament.

We just filled our Prop. Night Doubles & Singles on June 4th, 2025 at 6:30pm (See our event page for attendees). If you were looking to bowl, Tony Rebis and Wayne Potter are putting some special squads. A Team Event squad for June 11th, 2025 at 6:30pm and a Doubles & Singles Event for June 13th, 2025 also at 6:30pm. If you are interested in bowling event please contact Matt and/or Tim directly.
