Den "faithful": This is your final invite as we begin this new big event season here at Lyons Den Golf much like we finished the last, in celebration of our heritage, our founders, and this great game! Please consider joining us for something more than just a golf outing (it shall be a party!) Sunday April 26. Throughout the day we will host a series of festivities culminating in a throwback golf event where your team will play the back nine in a group of five scrambling with golf equipment dating as far back as the 1940's. Rest assured we will provide everything you need to enjoy this highly unique event. We will have an onsite food truck, a bottomless keg of Genesee, golf talent contests all with the old equipment, vintage 60's and 70's music, a best dressed "pimp daddy" competition (in memory of Carl. "Los"), co****le and even bingo for the non-golfers. Cost will be $30 to participate in the tournament. All other games and activities revolve around donation to participate as all the proceeds for the day will go to charity. Tee off as early as 11:00 am or as late as 6:30 pm. Food truck will be on hand throughout the day. Most of the fun will occur throughout the heart of the afternoon hours. A simple RSVP when you have your team via text to my cell phone at 330-605-2750 shall suffice. Come celebrate with us! We've waited a long time to do this and are so excited for you to be a part of it! Andy

We wanted to reach out with a huge THANK YOU to all who prayed for and supported the Anna's Warriors Golf Outing this past Sunday. They were not only able to raise AROUND $11,000 and really lifted Anna's spirits. This could not have been possible without Todd Matthews and all of you.

To all our "Den faithful": Today we lost our father and founder to the ages. Carl Lyons met his Saviour face to face for the first time at 3:28 am this morning. Now his beautiful heart lies forever in the hands of the One who made it. Anyone who knew our dad knew his heart. it was the best part of him! I pray you had a chance to know him. even if just a little bit. He was wonderful! And he loved his patrons! Sharin a loop or a cold one after, he just loved bein with those the Lord blessed him with to serve. Chances are if you ever teed it up with him you didnt get away without learning something new about the game, your own swing, or the history of what he had labored (even as a child) to build for you. He would always say "97 good ones. and 3 not so much. just put here so i would appreciate the others that much more." He was grateful to be a part of your lives and hopefully offer you some rest from your struggles. So next time you tee it up out here please take time to smell the flowers (they were his baby for years) and look close at the ones you are about to loop with and let em know how thankful you are just to be there with them doing this together today. Thanks Papa for showin me the game! I will forever be grateful! Wait for me. I'm gonna be a little late to the tee this time. But i'll get there. And I can hardly wait to swing again with you on the other side! Tell Mama i said Hi. and I'll keep watch at the Den for you. They count on me here. Bye for Now. I love you forever! Your boy Andy

To the person responsible for this extensive damage with a golf cart last Thursday afternoon upon the lifeblood of my golf course, my water source, I want you to be clear on something: You are FORGIVEN! Know this……….Whatever pain inside of you that led you to this moment, and then to subsequently flee from it in fear, can be healed! You are still welcome here at Lyons Den Golf. I pray tonight His Love on your heart poured over you for peace, and the Spirit filled freedom of unconditional forgiveness. Our family owned golf course is a place for healing of spirit for so many. Let it be yours as well. Don’t let the Devil use his power of Fear, Guilt, and Shame to block you from this forgiveness that lies in front of you. Return! You need not reveal yourself to me or anyone else here. No one is here to catch you. Just come back. Next time your heart will surely lead you to better behavior. Please come find what is offered FREELY to you.
And to my brothers already a part of the extended “Den” family: We know nothing changes without Agape Love. Please help me to reach this person by simply reposting it within your networks so the Power of His Love can collide with the powers of darkness. - only $75 a player to enter: Golf, Cart, Fishing privileges, Lunch, Beverages, BBQ after golf and HUGE CASH and Merchandise prizes to win!!!!
- 4 person scramble and fishing tournament
- $500 cash in FISHING prizes . Based on 100 players
- $500 cash in skins game. Based on 100 players

******* Last year’s field was 164 players so you can be assured these numbers are underestimated!!!!!

- Open fishing will begin at 4:00 am and ends at 8:00 am each day. Carts will be available at dawn.
- Shotgun start for golf at 8:00 am (18 hole scramble).
- ALL Bass must be caught and released (after measurements)!! NO exceptions!! Anyone to violate this rule will not be invited back for ANY future events!!
- Cash holds spot. Final deadlines for sign up Thursday June 2nd, 2022
- ONLY event participants allowed to fish and ONLY the weekend of June 4/5 2022. Wristbands will be handed out to ALL participants and must be worn at all times. Anyone NOT wearing a wristband and fishing on the grounds will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!!!!
- NO fishing after 8:00 am Saturday June 4th/ Sunday June 5th
- Cash prizes based on 100 entries and will be distributed to team captains after Sunday June 5th
