Good morning baseball community. Hope everyone is enjoying the last bit of summer. First thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, players, and parents/family without all of you, it would not be possible to have a little league.

Canajoharie Area Little League Board Elections will be held Tuesday 9/15/2026, the location and time will be shared once confirmed. All positions are available to volunteer for. Help make a difference in the baseball community, let your voice be heard. Fill out a board application so it can be voted on. If you have any questions please reach out.

We would like to congratulate 5 players from our 12U C-FP Girls Softball team that were selected to play in the 2026 District 12 Best of the Best tournament today in Duanesburg.

They are:

Jaxon Dingman and Landon Thurley participated alongside 40 players this past weekend in a best of the best 3 game invitational series put on by District 12. They were observed by district administrators during not just this exhibition, but throughout the AAA and International all star games.

Players were evaluated not just on talent alone, but also sportsmanship, character, courage, kindness, and loyalty. We are proud here at Canajoharie Area Little League to say these 2 young men were selected to represent our little league based on their observations of those traits to be a part of Marietta-Buonome All Star Team to play at Stotz Field, the birthplace of Little League, and home of the first Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

We are very proud of them, wish them the best of luck, and hope they cherish this experience.

We want to congratulate our 10u and 12u baseball all star teams. Both achieved victory yesterday in becoming District 12 AAA champions.

Canajoharie 10u defeated Duanesburg at Parkhurst Field in Gloversville with a score 15-0.

Canajoharie 12u defeated Scotia-Glenville at Duanesburg Little League with a score 5-3.

Thank you to both Duanesburg Little League and Gloversville Little League for hosting these games, there is a lot of work that goes into these tournaments and both leagues made it happen regardless of some impromptu rain causing delays, some lingering wild fire smoke, and a heat index tipping the scales. Regardless of all of those you both delivered and did it with great kindness. Thank you and your volunteers.

Canajoharie Area Little League would like to congratulate 4 of our 12U all star players for being selected by District 12 to play and compete with some of the best players in the area in a 3 baseball game set. They will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities and their overall character for a chance to be selected to go to Williamsport, PA to experience the Little League World Series.
