New England car clubs, Bosstown, and Driftfaction have collaborated to create and host SpecialStage New England. We will be hosting drifting events in the form of clinics on Fridays for new, or less experienced drivers, and open drift days on Saturdays throughout the 2016 season. Canaan Motor Club, once an oval track, has been renovated into a 1.6 mile road course. This impressive new facility has
opened its doors to drifting in the 2016 season, and is looking to aid us in the progression of our sport. As some of you may know, nearing the end of 2015, we were invited to bring a small amount of cars to test the new track. Every aspect of the facility is of a quality that can not be matched by any other track in the Northeast. The high speeds, smooth track surface, and track layout make for a new caliber of drifting once not possible in New Hampshire. Throughout the upcoming season, we will be hosting events in two fashions. Friday events will be held as B and C group days. During these days, novice and intermediate level drivers will get the opportunity to hone their skills on the track, and receive guidance along the way. The facility requires a much greater level of skill compared to other local events which is why we have chosen this format. Saturday events will be open to A group drivers by our discretion. We have been asked by track ownership and management to be selective with our entrants to preserve the track from unnecessary or malicious abuse, and to keep the day safe for other drivers. To qualify for A group, you will either have to have pre-approval by us, or you will have to display your driving skill level at a drift event hosted by Lock City Drift at Thompson Motor Speedway. Friday dates are subject to change at any time. Target pricing will be $175 for a single drift day. Pricing is subject to change. In the beginning of the season, we will be allowing a lower number of entrants. This number will rise as the season goes on as we see fit.
