Update to summer schedule.

As we prepare to move I am adjusting my schedule to accommodate. I will go to a full day on Wednesdays. Starting around 11-8. 

I would like to also group as many as I can together as I am seeing around 18 boys and 10 girls for lessons right now. If you have a group of 2-3 you can partner with I can work everyone in on the day.

If that day does not work please message me so I can try and gather a plan.

As we move I am working on getting something set up at the new house but it may take some time. I have some access to facilities around that I will work out of in the fall.

Thank you all who do come and continue to work on your skills and share our goals at the facility. We look forward to growing and taking your game to the next level.

Winter Training

Middle/High School season is just 3 months away. Now that our fall throwing program is over, I will be back to group and individual training sessions.

Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday are going to be the primary days I will be in the Facility. If any of these days do not work, please message me. I am going to open up all training sessions to be booked for 2 athletes at a time as well. I only have around 10 hours a week in the cage and 25 athletes training routinely.

I have another winter preseason throwing program starting next week as well. It is pitching and lifting-focused. Will throw a bullpen and a short pen weekly, with data tracked and lifting in-house.

This will be $50 a week or $400 for the full program. That includes the weekly bullpen and lifting.

Lastly, if the weather drops below 30 degrees in the evening of training, I will reschedule. The garage runs off a heater, but it does stay cool inside the building. I do require sleeves and pants for training. Also, lace-up shoes.

Currently have 2 spots filled for the first group. 2 already in the program.

This isn't just some paper-throwing program. Looking to focus on baseball-specific workouts. The program requires commitment, 4 days a week. Weighted balls to overload/underload the arm to build strength & speed. Band work, warm up focused on prepping the arm for work, a post-recovery throwing program, a lifting program, and detailed info on how to take these movements to the mound and increase velocity.

The cost of this program is less than what it costs to come train for 1/hr. a week. I will see those in this group on mid/high intent days, which can be 2-3 times a week. If you don't have a place to work, the facility will be open to use. I have most all the equipment needed, but you will be required to get some equipment for homework.

Have questions, shoot me a message. It won't be easy, but if you put the work into this program, it comes right back out in the spring. On facility days, expect 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the workout.

PLEASE READ FULL POST AND SHARE IF INTERESTED:

I've been receiving a ton of messages about not showing openings. As awesome as it is, I am completely booked out 2 weeks in advance right now. I have been slowly pairing kids together and working on this slowly. I want to thank all those who have joined and put in the work.

Now I want to gauge some interest in something for the late fall/winter. A winter indoor hitting league. It would consist of small teams but be played individually among age groups and team based. Each age division metrics will be adjusted and complexity of hitting tracked with the machine.

I am only gauging the interest in this as the machine for this is expensive and would not be obtainable with a small group.

Some info and ideas on how it would work:
Dates: Nov – Mid Dec (6-8 Weeks played on Thursdays and Sundays)
Ages: 8-18
Divisions: Divisions will be divided up after registration is complete based on age
Team Size: 3-4 players, comprised of teams that you choose
Games: 8 game guarantee with possibility of 12 total games

Sessions will be roughly 45-1 hour. You will have tee work and hitting work before the game tracks live. Roughly the upfront cost would be $300. This can be broken up into payments over the time frame. Coming out to about $35 a session for the 8-game minimum.

Please let me know if you are interested in this. I have to get the equipment by September-October.

🚨 Update from 606 Baseball Academy! 🚨

Starting June 8th, 606 Baseball Academy will officially be switching to a membership-based training facility.

We want to create a culture and atmosphere for those who work with us and ensure we have the times available for athletes.

We’ve been fortunate to experience tremendous growth lately — and I just want to say thank you to everyone who’s been a part of it. In April alone, I worked with 29 athletes, and already this month we’ve welcomed 6 new faces for first-time lessons. I’m extremely grateful for the trust and support everyone has shown.

Because of this growth, and to ensure I can continue to provide quality instruction while also making time for my family, I will begin bundling players together for small group sessions when possible. This allows me to work with more athletes and keep pushing them toward their goals.

🔥 Summer is my busiest season and I’m ready to work with as many players as I can! I currently have 3–4 middle school and high school athletes starting a Throwing/Velocity program, paired with a weight room training plan — a serious development opportunity.

If you’re interested in this program or anything else we offer, please reach out ASAP — spots are filling fast! This will be a 2-3 day in house program. Athletes will be required to furnish some of their own equipmentent and test at the facility 1 night a week.

We will continue to offer lessons to non members but spots will be limited.

The driveway off of Sandy Ridge Rd is now in and useable. You can pull right up to the facility and park and walk in to the second door on the left now.

The website has slots open for the week as well. It is updated up to 2 weeks out now.
