S/O my client Karan 👊🏽.
We had a few bumps along the way, but stayed consistent in the gym and in 2 months made some great progress. Once he changed his mindset and stuck to his diet, things really started rolling for us. Before you can make changes in your body, you need to make the change in your mindset 💯💯.

The smile says it all! Shout-out to my good friend and client Jeryll 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I don’t know where to start with this one, she is every trainers dream client. From day one, she stuck to the plan and followed it to the T, never complained about anything, not even once, and I almost had to beg her at times to take her cheat meals 😂😂. This is a testament to what hard work, consistency and patience will get you. In just about 2 months, we managed to drop just shy of 40lbs, lost inches from head to toe, and we greatly increased her strength. She even went vegetarian for lent, and we figured it out together along the way. She was fully devoted to this new lifestyle change, and I couldn’t be any more proud and thankful for that. Thank you Jeryll, for trusting me in guiding you along this journey! It’s just the beginning, and I’m excited to see how far you take it!

Daammmnn 😂😂
I’ve been in the gym consistently since my sophomore year in HS (2005), but for the first 7 or 8 years I had no idea what I was doing. All I knew was I wanted to bench a lot of weight, so I mainly stuck with that. And as you can see, I didn’t really know much about dieting either. One thing I still deal with today as I did back then, was whenever I tried to cut weight, the progress would be so minimal and so slow, I felt that it wasn’t working, and I was cursed with a bad metabolism and bad genetics. But the reality is, depending on where your starting point is, you might see progress in the first few weeks, or you might not. But the key is to stay consistent! Don’t get discouraged when you look in the mirror a week or two after starting your new lifestyle, and you aren’t noticing any changes. If you’re following your plan to the T, be patient and the results will slowly reveal themselves. Sometimes I would find myself getting so caught up in watching the scale move, that if it didn’t, I would say f*ck it and binge eat for the next few days, and set myself back even further. It wasn’t until I started trusting the process, that I started finally seeing the results. I had days when I would mess up, eat out or have one too many drinks, but instead of letting that carry on throughout the week, I would catch myself and pick up where I left off. Stay consistent, and most of all have patience. The results will come 👊🏽

Showing up isn’t enough. If this sounds like you, here are a few simple things you can do to get started on the right track!
1. Create a SIMPLE workout routine(chest/back/shoulders/arms/legs), that you can track progress on. For example, if you are bench pressing once a week, make it a point to either increase your reps, sets, or weight on a regular basis.
2. Start taking note of what you are eating daily, and start weighing yourself consistently every day to see what direction your weight is headed in. If you are trying to lose weight, but the scale isn’t moving, or is moving up, cut back on the amount of food you are eating daily. And also, alcohol is your worst enemy when it comes to losing weight.
3. Get an adequate amount of sleep every night. Sleep plays a huge part in weight loss, which a lot of people don’t know. Lack of sleep can keep you from losing weight, or even cause you to gain more weight due to a variety of reasons, from brain functions, to hormone functions, and metabolic functions.
If you need help with this, send me a DM or email me and I’d be glad to help!
