As our event grows we must get an earlier start to help us plan for our big day. This year we plan on going to other events to help bring in more vendors as was advised in our survey last year. If you wish to obtain a vendor space please contact me by phone or email me from the contact info located on the top letterhead. Already in its ninth year, we have grown to be a top event in our community. Sign up early, lodging is available on site for those needing a place to stay. We look forward to hosting you

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our 2026 scholarship recipients. NUECES CANYON HUNTERS ROUND UP had 15 applications from Leakey & 3 from Nueces Canyon. The following are the 2026 recipients * Aden Rhiver - Leakey ISD

This completes the 8th year of the NCHRU granting scholarships to Real County Seniors. In the past eight years we have awarded over $110,000 to graduating seniors as well as to Community organizations, civic organizations & other school clubs. A BIG THANK YOU to our yearly sponsors and to everyone that donates to this cause as well as to those that come out and support the yearly event. This year the Cook-Off will be held starting October 23 - 24th. The main event is scheduled for October 24 to be held at LOS RIOS CABINS & CAMPSITES. Further details coming soon
