Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon The Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is an event that is the only women's triathlon in Central New York. The race wishes to thank the Carol M. In 2011, the Carol M.

The 15th Annual event is Sunday 27-Jul-2025, with registration opening 1-Sep-2024. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund and the Town of Camillus for their support to the Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund was forced to move their 'Beach Days' event from the Veteran's Memorial Park in Camillus, NY to Syracuse University because of the size of the event. Leaving behind a long-term relationship with Gillie Lake at the Veteran's Memorial Park and the town of Camillus, it was a mere coincidence that this was the chosen venue to host a new event for the Baldwin Fund. The Gillie Girl's Sprint Triathlon is located 2 miles off of Route 5 near West Hill Golf Course on Ike Dixon Road & Sands Road and Gillie Brook Roads. The course includes a 1/2 mile swim in the natural spring fed Gillie Lake, a flat 14 bike route and a spectator-friendly 5k run. This is a great event for all women, first time racers, seasoned triathletes and relay teams.

Today, we celebrate and thank Eric Prager for 15 incredible years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to The Baldwin Fund and the Gillie Girl Triathlon.

As a valued Board Member and the driving force behind the Gillie Girl Triathlon, Eric has helped build this event into a beloved community tradition that brings people together while raising critical funds to support cancer research and patient programs.

Eric’s passion, hard work, and countless hours of service have made a lasting impact on our organization, our participants, and the many lives touched by the mission of The Baldwin Fund.

From all of us at The Baldwin Fund — thank you, Eric, for 15 years of leadership, friendship, and unwavering support. We are truly grateful for everything you have done and the legacy you have helped create. 💗
