The 8th Grade Camillus Jr Wildcats (Paninski) are officially the YBOA New York State Champions! 🏆🏀

These boys continue to prove that hard work, commitment, and team-first basketball can compete with anyone. After another outstanding weekend, they have earned the opportunity to represent New York State at the YBOA National Championship in Winter Haven, Florida!

We couldn't be more proud of this group. They continue to raise the standard for our program while competing at the highest levels against top competition from across the region.

Congratulations players, coaches, and families on an incredible accomplishment!

Well they’ve done it again. These boys continue to represent Central New York at the highest level.

The 8th Grade Camillus Jr Wildcats (Paninski) went 5-0 this weekend at the Gym Rat Challenge in Albany, NY, capturing the Gold Division Championship. Along the way, they defeated teams from Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

It’s great to see the hard work of the players and the dedication of the parents continue to be rewarded. This group keeps proving that CNY basketball can compete with anyone when toughness, teamwork, and commitment come together.

Congratulations to Bentley Lanning on being named Tournament MVP! Well deserved recognition after a tremendous weekend.

Thank you for everything you do to keep our players — and let’s be honest, the dads and coaches too — functional on a day-to-day basis. From the carpools and crazy schedules to the support, encouragement, snacks, laundry, and endless love… none of this would be possible without you.

Congratulations to Coach Maxwell and the Jr Wildcats 3/4 squad on capturing their first tournament championship of the spring!

This group has battled all season long, consistently competing against older, bigger teams and embracing the challenges that came with it. They stayed committed, trusted the process, and continued to improve each week. This weekend, they finally had the opportunity to compete against comparable teams—and they made the most of it.

The boys showcased all the growth, toughness, and lessons they’ve built throughout the spring, putting it all together when it mattered most to earn some big-time wins. Great way to end the Spring season! 🟡🔵🏀🏆

Great weekend at the XGEN Easter Challenge in Buffalo. The Jr Wildcats invaded the 716 and brought home 4 championships! Congratulations to 4th Grade (Paninski), 5th Grade (Cizenski), 8th Grade (Paninski), and 9th Grade (Woody). All the teams had a blast competing on the court and bonding at hotel / team dinners. These girls have lost in the championship game three times this season—while playing up as all 3rd graders in a 4th grade division. But they kept showing up, kept working, and kept believing. Zero quit!

This weekend, they finally broke through and won their first Championship at the Central Square Invitational 🏆

They played incredible team basketball and were absolutely relentless on defense.

Proud is an understatement. The future is very bright for these WG girls 💙💛

Huge congratulations to Coach Paninski and our 8th Grade Jr Wildcats on bringing home the Championship this weekend at the AGame Super Shootout in Spooky Nook, PA!

This marks the first time in program history that the Camillus Jr Wildcats have won a national-level tournament championship, and I could not be more proud of these players, coaches, and families.

This group has separated itself by consistently putting in extra work, embracing tough competition, and taking on a longer and more demanding schedule than most teams. Their commitment, toughness, and willingness to challenge themselves continues to set them apart.

It is great to see all of that hard work paying off.

Keep being the standard, boys! 🔵🟡🏆
