It's time to get back in the gym!

Every summer we see Comets putting up thousands of shots, and the results always show when the season rolls around. Find a hoop and stay consistent!

🏀 Grades K-3 Goal: 3,000 shots

🏀 Grades 4-12 Goals:
• 15,000 shots
• 1,000 made free throws

🚨We’re excited to introduce two brand-new opportunities for our youngest Comets going into grades K-3!

⭐ 3,000 Shot Club — a modified version of our 15,000 Shot Club, this fun summer challenge is designed to build confidence, improve shooting skills, and encourage players to get in the gym this summer. The challenge begins June 1st! Hard copies can be picked up at the ES from Coach Tiefs!

⭐ Little Dribblers — starting this fall, giving young players the chance to learn the game and develop their basketball fundamentals in a fun and positive environment!

We can’t wait to see our future Comets grow their love for basketball! 💙🏀

🚨NEW THIS SUMMER…

🥣☀️ BREAKFAST CLUB! ☀️🥣

We know it’s early… but what better way to start your day than in the gym shooting hoops with friends? 🏀

Join us for Breakfast Club this summer! Open to boys and girls of ALL ages.

📍 Tuesdays and Thursdays in the HS gym
⏰ 6:30–7:30 AM
📅 Starting June 9th

This is a great opportunity for players to get extra shots up, work on fundamentals, compete, and improve their game in a fun environment. Sessions are player-led and not structured practices.

🍳🥞K–8 players who attend at least 15 of the 20 sessions will earn a Breakfast Club t-shirt, and we’ll celebrate the summer with a team breakfast after our final session!

Start your mornings in the gym and make this summer count! ☀️🏀

Mark your calendars! Cameron Girls Basketball is hosting a 3 on 3 tournament this summer. Grab your teammates and join us for a fun and competitive day of basketball!

📅 July 20th
⏰ 8:00 AM
📍Cameron High School & Middle School

✅ Boys & Girls: Grades 4–12
✅ 4 players per team
✅ Guaranteed 3 games
✅ 15-minute half-court games

💲 $80 per team

📚Academic All-State
Congrats to our players (Anna Baribeau, Quinn Grassmann, Sage Martinson, Bridgette Mohns, Claudia Mohns, Abbie Olson, Bailey Olson, Aggie Schmidt, Inez Schmidt, Payten Severt, and Lainey Wilson) who earned Academic All-State honors (3.5+ GPA). A great accomplishment that reflects their work in the classroom and on the court!

Shoutout to Bridgette for being named D4 WBCA All-State Honorable Mention—a huge honor and one of the top recognitions in the state. Well deserved for the impact she made all season!

Yesterday wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, but we couldn’t be more proud of the girls and everything they accomplished this season.

🏀 23–5 record
🏆 Back-to-back HON Conference Champions
🏆 Back-to-back Regional Champions
🔥 First Sectional Final appearance since 2017

This team battled, believed, and represented our program and community with so much heart all season long.

A special shoutout to our senior, Anna Baribeau, who chose to be there for her team and gave up competing at the State Powerlifting meet. That kind of selflessness and commitment to your teammates says everything about the culture of this group.

Thank you to our families, friends, and the entire Cameron community for the incredible support. Our girls truly have the best fans around, and we felt that energy every step of the way.

So proud of this team. 💙
