It’s so exciting to see all of the entries coming in! Lots of familiar faces, but also several new players. Also, please remember that private housing is available. We are fortunate that so many of our members have offered to open their homes for you. And if you need a hotel recommendation, please reach out to Kelly Wilson. Stay tune for more updates!

Hello Ladies!

The entry forms are ready and will be mailed out on Monday, January 17. Entry deadline is March 1, 2022. We have made a few additions to this year’s event:

Players with an index of 15.0 and lower may enter this year’s event.

Although all players will be competing to be the overall champion, we will be paying out for senior players, players 5-10 handicap, and players 11-15 handicap. We will also be awarding prizes for low round of the DAY in each of these categories!

For players playing in the Saturday practice round, we will be offering drinks and light appetizers after the round.

Like last year, Sunday’s tournament round will be an afternoon shotgun followed by an hors d’oeuvres and wine reception. Monday’s round of golf will be a 10 AM shotgun. We will also be offering complementary breakfast before the round, and lunch and awards immediately following play.

Great news! The second annual Lois Hodge Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship is on for March 20-21, 2022. Organized practice round on March 19 will include a skins game and cocktail reception.

This event will be for players with an handicap of 15.0 or lower. Just like last year, all players are competing to be the overall champion, but we will also be awarding the winners of the senior players (age 50+), for players with handicaps of 5.0 or lower , 5.1-10.0, and 10.1+. And we will also be handing out prizes for daily low round in each of these divisions.

Hors d’oeuvres and wine reception will follow round 1 on Sunday, and breakfast and lunch will be served on Monday. Caddies may join at no additional cost.

Host housing is available with our amazing members , and airport transportation is available as well.

Congratulations to our very deserving champion Clare Sorensen! She and Marissa Mar dueled it out for two days before Clare emerged as our champion. And congrats to the other top finishers in our other categories. Last but not least, thank you so much to our sponsors Strings Italian Café, Al Decaprio, mark and Jodi Monas from the Floor Store, John Hayes Realty Group, Direct Signs, and Valley Funding Inc. Cameron Park country club provided an incredible test of golf, and delicious food for both days. Already looking forward to next year!

Appetizer/Frank Family wine reception immediately follows golf. Scoring and reception will be in the upstairs dining room.

Monday, March 22:
Check-in opens at 8:30
Breakfast served from 8:30-9:15
Shotgun start at 10:00
Scoring, lunch, and awards will be in the upstairs dining room immediate following golf.
