🌸⛳️ Spring Break Staycation: Fairways and Friends Clinic ⛳️🌸

The Camden Country Club is excited to team up with the WGA and Pink Ribbon Realty to bring our community a fun Spring Break Staycation – Fairways and Friends Clinic for kids!

Bring the kiddos out for an afternoon of golf, fun, and a little creativity on the course!

✨ What to Expect:
📝 Registration time with drinks, snacks, and ball decorating
🏌️‍♀️ Golf lessons to learn the basics and build confidence
⛳ A quick hole of golf so the kids can try out their new skills on the course

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents: If you’d like to follow along and watch the fun, carts will be available to rent for $10.

This is a great way for kids to enjoy spring break, learn something new, and spend time outdoors with friends!

Job description for “Golf Course Maintenance Groundskeeper

Job Title: Golf Course Maintenance Groundskeeper

Job Summary-

The Golf Course Groundskeeper is responsible for performing the daily manual labor and equipment operation required to maintain the golf course grounds and playing conditions. This position contributes to the high-quality standards of the facility, working under the Golf Course Superintendent.

Duties and responsibilities:

Safely operate powered equipment such as, Mowers, Tractors, Utility vehicles, weedeaters, etc.

Performing routine daily jobs, such as changing cups and moving tee markers if needed

Edge and trim areas around cart paths, trees, yardage markers, proshop, bar areas etc.

Use hand tools to perform manual labor including digging, raking, and shoveling

Assist with landscaping tasks, including laying sod or seeding

Perform basic maintenance on equipment

Assist with irrigation system repairs and maintenance as needed

Remove debris, branches, and other foreign objects from the course (including trash)

Follow instructions from Course Superintendent

Work 40 hours a week with overtime when needed (7am to 3pm unless instructed differently by course Superintendent)

Work environment and Physical demands

Physically demanding role performed outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain

The position involves prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and work on uneven surfaces

Exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, noise are common

Must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

We’re excited to announce that we’ve added THREE additional tournaments to our summer schedule! 🎉

A huge thank you to the outside clubs and organizations who continue to choose Camden Country Club to host and sponsor their tournaments. We truly appreciate your support and partnership in helping us grow the game right here at home.

It’s looking like our Saturdays are going to be FULL of fun, friendly competition, and great golf all summer long! ☀️🏌️‍♂️

For our serious golfers who love to compete and make a full weekend of it — don’t worry 😉 — you’ll have plenty of opportunities to test your game, stay sharp, and enjoy some competitive, championship-style play.

☀️ With a warm day finally in sight, we can’t help but start thinking about golf at Camden Country Club! ⛳️

We’re excited to share the 2026 schedules for the WGA and MGA with our members and friends. These events always bring great competition, fun, and fellowship to the course, and we’re looking forward to another amazing year.

Please keep in mind that additional tournaments hosted by other organizations will also take place throughout the year. As those events are scheduled, we’ll be happy to share them as well so everyone can stay in the loop.
