Formed in 2005, we are proud to be the first roller derby league on the east coast to offer both banked and flat track co-ed roller derby action! PJRD is a skater-owned and operated league of 80+ members located in Philadelphia. We have 2 men's travel teams (the Hooligans A team, and the Shenanigans B team) and 2 women's travel teams (the She-Devils A team and the B-Devils B team), as well as a he

althy pool of alternates honing their skills as swing players. We pride ourselves on accepting anyone and everyone, and training every new recruit from the ground up. Our warehouse serves as both our practice space and is open at least 4 days a week and is also our venue for all of our home games.

Today we celebrate freedom.

Juneteenth honors June 19, 1865, the historic day when freedom was finally proclaimed to the last remaining enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas.

As we celebrate the deep history, culture, and enduring contributions of Black Americans, we also reflect on the ongoing work toward true equity. Real inclusion means ensuring everyone, in every community, has access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. ❤️💛💚🖤

No one should have to earn the right to belong.

Happy Pride Month to everyone who has ever been made to feel like they were too much, not enough, or unworthy of belonging. The inclusive spaces we enjoy today exist because people before us resisted being erased and refused to stay quiet; it is up to us to continue protecting and celebrating those spaces.

This Pride Month, we reaffirm that Penn Jersey will always be a place where you can live, play, and thrive exactly as you are.

Heading home with another 3-0 weekend on the books 🔥☠️🔥 Thank you to Cleveland Guardians Roller Derby for hosting and skating in (aaand allowing us to crash) another jam-packed derby weekend, and to Chicago Bruise Brothers Roller Derby for an always-fun, physical throwdown!

That's a wrap for the "Hooli-nanigans" 2026 regular season! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to skate against so many great teams, and we can't wait for our next matchup, whoever/wherever that may be 👀

This was definitely a season to remember for all of us ❤️☠️🖤
