🚨🚨🚨Mark you calendars!!! Fall Sports Registration (both online at kershawcounty.recdesk.com and in office) will begin Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Registration will end on Friday, July 24, 2026. Cost of registration is $50 per child. 🚨🚨🚨

Fall Sports Include:
-Flag Football (6-7 Flag, 8-10 Flag, 11-12 Flag): League age is age as of September 1, 2026

-Tackle Football (8-10 Tackle and 11-12 Tackle): League age is age as of September 1, 2026

-Fall Baseball (7-8 Coaches Pitch, 9-10 Dixie AAA, 11-12 Dixie Ozone and 13-14 Dixie Boys): League age is age as of April 30, 2027

-Fall Softball (7-8 Darlings, 9-10 Angels, and 11-12 Ponytails): League age is age as of December 31, 2026

For our seasons to be successful, we NEED volunteer head coaches for our teams in our fall sports programs. We want ALL teams to have a coach overseeing them from the start of the season starting with the draft. If you are interested, please indicate during your child(ren)'s registration or you can contact us at our office. If you know of anyone that is interested, please have them contact our office and let us know as well.

6/22/26 @ Noon- The pool will continue to be closed the rest of today, Tuesday and Wednesday. A reopen date is still TBD as it will depend on when the new motor is delivered and when it can be installed.

6/19/26 @ 4:30pm- a new motor has been ordered but we have yet to receive shipping confirmation/tracking. The pool will continue to be closed the rest of today, Saturday and Sunday. A reopen date is still TBD.

Join us at the Aquatic Center tomorrow, June 15th for our Member Appreciation Day! The Pool will be open from 1pm-8pm with two surprise Happy Hours* and free access for Pool Members to the Splash Pad from 6pm-8pm.

We want to give a shout-out to the amazing players and coaches who will represent Kershaw County in the upcoming Dixie Boys District tournament this weekend in Chester starting Friday, June 12.

Kershaw County American will begin all star play against Lewisville. Game time is 8:00pm. Games will be played at the Chester Youth Baseball Complex in Chester (593 Baseball Alley, Chester).

Are you looking to enhance your athletic performance, speed, and agility?

Our speed clinic offers an engaging and supportive environment for youth and young adults to build essential skills. We focus on key training areas to help you move faster and play smarter:

Speed Mechanics: Practical drills to improve your running form and acceleration.

Agility Training: Active exercises to boost coordination, balance, and quick changes of direction.

Conditioning: High-energy workouts designed to increase stamina and overall fitness.

Injury Prevention: Safe strength techniques to keep your body protected and durable.

Instructed by Coach Danta Harrell, this clinic will be held July 6-8 (Monday-Wednesday) at Scott Park (222 State Road) in Camden. Registration begins on Monday, June 15th and will conclude on Friday, July 3. Clinic is for ages 5-18. Registration is $35 per participant and space is limited to 25.

🎉 Finally!!!! 🎉 The pool is back up and running. It will take a few hours of circulation and chemical correcting to allow swimmers back in. We have a swim meet tonight, and then we will be open normal operating hours starting tomorrow, Friday, June 5th. Thank you for your patience and understanding!!

Friendly reminder that registration for our 2026 Co-Ed kickball league ends Friday, May 29th. If you are entering a team into the league, you MUST submit a team roster as well. These can be picked up either at our office or we have a link on our website (kershawrec.com) to obtain a copy.

Gather your friends, family, and coworkers and come play some kickball with us!

Registration for the 2026 Kershaw County Parks and Recreation Department Coed Kickball league begins on Monday, May 11 with registration concluding on Friday, May 29. Season is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 14.

Team registration fee is $240. Each registered team must have a minimum of 10 players with at least 4 females on the team.

Minimum league age is 16 (must be 16 by the start of the season).

Team rosters MUST be submitted before the end of the registration period. These rosters can be picked up either at our office (1042 West DeKalb Street, Camden) or on our website (kershawrec.com) with a link provided to obtain a copy as well.

6/3/26- The part that we have been waiting on arrived late this evening. It will be installed tomorrow morning. However, it will require several hours of circulation and chemical correction to allow swimmers back in. It will be back up just in time for tomorrow's home swim meet and open normal hours on Friday 6/5.

6/2/26- We have just received updated shipping information on the new pump and we should be back up and running on Thursday (6/4/26)
