Marietta College Head Football Coach Tom Hinkle joined us on the podcast last week ahead of their season opener this Thursday against Westminster College.

Volleyball for a good cause!

Fort Frye hosting Waterford.. this game also serving as a fundraiser for upcoming Fort Frye freshman Brooklynne Meek. Brooklynne was recently involved in an ATV accident and is in the hospital undergoing multiple surgeries.

You can help by making donations directly to the Fund for Brooklynne at Citizens Bank in Beverly, Marietta, Barlow, or Belpre.

So far in this game, Fort Frye leads Waterford 2-0. Elle Casto comes up with the big kill here in the second set.

No action for Turner Hill tonight. RHP Gavin Williams is expected to start for Cleveland tomorrow, so a good chance we see Turner in the lineup for the series finale.

Turner Hill gets a pinch-opportunity in the 9th inning and makes the most of it, ripping a double down the right field line.

Cleveland and San Francisco will tee it up at the same time tomorrow.

Turner Hill warming up in the outfield ahead of the Guardians-Giants series.

After making his MLB debut in San Francisco on Saturday, Hill gets a chance to play in his home state of Ohio for the first time as a big leaguer.

We’ll have coverage of Hill and the Giants later tonight at 11.

This offseason Brenton signed a 3-year, $48 million dollar contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He set career highs in catches, receiving yards and touchdowns despite missing five games due to an injury.

In those five games he missed, Jacksonville went 2-3. In the games he played, Jacksonville went 11-1. Liam Cohen and the Jaguars front office locked up an absolute difference maker for their offense.

The former Parkersburg Big Red is now one of the highest-paid tight ends in the NFL.
