All of the patterns for the July horse show can be downloaded from the webpage but here are the trail course patterns for you to look at. As always, there is a basic course that gets more and more involved with each level.
NOTE - The Buckle Challenge course for July is quite complex, primarily because there is a lot to remember! Please take time in advance to start memorizing this course and practice any of the skills you are not sure about. Then, you can walk the course when you get to the show, so you know exactly where to go:)

There are many different ways you can support the Cambridge Saddle Club (CSC)

First of all, you can become a member! Annual membership is much appreciated and directly impacts the success of the club. Please consider joining as either an individual member or as a family member. If you haven't joined yet, please visit our webpage to download a membership application and submit your form today!

Another way to show support of the CSC is to attend our many events. We have horse shows, gymkhanas and barrel races scheduled from now through October 2026! Truly there is something for everyone and we hope you will mark your calendars and come join us as often as you can! Spectators are always welcome, too!

And, if you love the CSC events be sure to spread the word. Tell your friends and share with them what a positive place the CSC is to be!

Next you can support the club by volunteering your time and talents! We are always looking for folks to lend a hand at our events and being a volunteer is tremendously helpful to the success of each event we host. Contact Donna Sausville if you would like to volunteer at horse shows, Pete Wood or John Steele if you wish to volunteer at gymkhanas or Judy Dahoda if you would like to be part of some of the barrel races.

Finally, you can support the club through sponsorship! Any type of donation is greatly appreciated and might consist of a product, service, gift certificate or monetary donation. When you sponsor the club, you can designate how you would like your contribution to be used. We hope you will consider sponsoring the CSC this season. Thank you to our latest open horse show sponsor Erin Rhea Show Pads for donating this gorgeous saddle pad to the July 12th show! The "Patty" pad will be 1 of 4 different pads included in our Saddle Pad Raffle Extravaganza. We will sell tickets for $1 per ticket or $20 for 25 tickets. We plan to draw at least 3 winners from the raffle, and the winners will get to choose which one of 4 different pads, they want. Anyone is eligible to enter the drawing, but you must be present to win! The drawing will be held during lunch break the day of the show.
This is gonna be a fun one, folks!

Our July 12th Open Horse Show is going to be a fun one, folks!!

The overall theme of the show will be Happy 250th Birthday, America:) We encourage you to wear any combination of Red, White and Blue to show your patriotic spirit.

1. The specialty award for the day will be a 'Spirit Award'

2. The Fun Class will be a Red, White, and Blue WTJ class that will run immediately following lunch. We will award an overall performance prize to the 1st place winner of the class, but will also give out awards for:
1. The Best Uncle Sam
2. Most Original/Creative
3. A Random Award to be determined based on what we see the day of the show. For example, last year we gave out 'the most sparkly award!'
We hope you have fun dressing up for this class but all you need to enter is to be wearing something that is red, white or blue. That can be on you or your horse! Note - For safety purposes, we do ask that whatever you decide to wear does not spook or scare other riders. For example, carrying a flag or balloons.

3. The Specialty class will be a WTC Ba****ck Equitation Class that will run after class #23. This class will be for 3 gait riders only and will be open to English or Western riders. English riders will be expected to post the trot and there will be no chaps allowed for western riders:). We will have a signup sheet in the office for anyone who is interested in entering this class and we will enter you the day of the show. Cost is $7 for members and $10 for non-members. This class will be covered in the all-day rate, when it applies.

4. We will be holding a Saddle Pad Extravaganza Raffle at the July show too!! There will be a total of 4 saddle pads to choose from AND we will draw at least 3 winners from the raffle!! The first person drawn will get the first choice of which pad they want, and so on. Tickets will be $1.00 per ticket or $20 for 25 tickets.
**If you PRE_ENTER before the show you will earn a free ticket. Be sure to mention this when you stop into the office the morning of the show in order to get your ticket.

5. Our Entry Appreciation raffle for this show will be for a bag of shavings! All those who enter and ride at the show earn one free ticket, while pre-entries earn two free tickets. **We already have 5 pre-entries, which is very cool!**

6. Of course, you can look forward to our day end grand and reserve championships and our overall high point awards! As well as 2 random draw awards to be given out throughout the day:)

We hope all of this FUN news generates your excitement, and you will join us on July 12th! We can't wait to see you at the show.

The pictures that Lynn Ann took at the June 7 show are starting to roll out. Please take a minute to check out the One Still Image site for some lovely shots. Lynn Ann is not charging for these pictures and has invited the CSC exhibitors to share them if you like. This is incredibly gracious and generous of Lynn Ann to do and we are so appreciative.
