We recently completed another ramp, this time for a local veteran. Our ramp program was started back in 2023 and has quickly grown into one of our most requested and needed programs.

Since 2023 we have installed a total of 21 ramps, both prefabricated and custom built. That means 21 lives that have been improved by providing a safe mobility solution.

This entire program is funded through local donations from individuals and grants from foundations such as the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, McManus Shepard, and Peoples Bank.

Without the support of our program partners, this endeavor would not be a reality. If you have ever considered making a donation, please consider supporting our ramp program. NOW LAUNCHING — CONNECT WORKS MOBILITY🚌

The Guernsey County Community Development Corporation is excited to officially launch our new 2nd Shift Transportation Program beginning Tuesday, May 26!

This service is ONLY available for individuals who both live AND work in Guernsey County.

Our crews have completed the bridge replacement project on the connector trail that connects Coal Ridge Park and Trails with The Great Guernsey Trail.

This consisted of a total rebuild/replacement of the bigger bridge (the one that was set on fire) and the removal of the smaller bridge, which was replaced with a culvert/walking path.

This project was made possible thanks to generous donations by our supporters and the tireless effort of our crews.

Current registration stands at 182 runners, which consists of 33 for the marathon, 75 for the half and 74 for the 5k.

All races will be timed ⏱️

Participants will receive a unique finisher medal 🏅

🥇🥈🥉 awards for top three over all for men and women in all three races and awards for top three finishes in multiple age brackets.

Plenty of chances to take home some hardware 🏆

Stay after the race and experience historic downtown Cambridge and enjoy the Finish Line Festival. There you will be able to enjoy live music 🎼 vendors, and a beer tent 🍻🍺

Need fuel? The CDC can help. We are offering free gas cards to those individuals that need the assistance and qualify.

The cards can be used for work or appointments. Quantity is limited. To qualify, please complete the intake form. Once completed our Mobility Manager, Kyra Gleckler, will contact you.
