Gangi Bay State Strutters Baton Twirling Team (GBSS) A warm and nurturing environment for learning baton twirling skills as well as life lessons. Do you smile when you see a parade?

Does the sound of John Phillip Sousa bring your soul to attention? The thrill of all of this can be yours by taking lessons with the Gangi Bay State Strutters (GBSS). Baton twirling lessons have much to offer to our youth. Besides developing reading skills through hand-eye coordination, self-confidence, a sense of rhythm, ambidexterity, physical fitness, and fun are just a few of the rewards to be gained from participating in this activity. Twirling is for girls and boys, and includes both individual and group events. We offer instruction ranging from the recreational level through competition twirling at the national level.

We’re thrilled that Ellie will be supporting the Lions Club of Trujillo as the Queen representative from the U.S.. Her dual-language learning at the Amigos School from 5 years old, followed by advanced Spanish language classes in high school will position her as a fantastic ambassador during the Festival Internacional de Primavera.
