The Gerry Boyle Firecracker Kids Tri is proud to partner with this year. Why? Because pets hate fireworks! Since the Firecracker Kids Tri is on the 4th of July (my dog's least favorite holiday) we thought it would be great to support the rescue.

We will be collecting donations the day of the race. The most needed items are:

Dog/cat food - dry/wet
Bedding- they accept used/clean sheets/pillows/towels
Cat trees
Paper towels
Puppy pads
Cat litter ⭐️
Pet toys - durable

FROM FIRECRACKER TO EAGLEMAN

Connor LeMire, a former Firecracker Kids Triathlon finisher crossed this year’s Ironman 70.3 Eagleman’s finish line this past Sunday in a personal record time of five hours and three minutes.

Connor, age 23, is no stranger to triathlon having done his first at the Firecracker Kids Triathlon hosted by CMS (aka Cambridge Multi-Sport) more than a decade earlier.

Every 4th of July for many years CMS has hosted the Firecracker Kids Triathlon. It gives children starting at age 6 the chance to experience a real triathlon scaled down to their size. Complete with official bike racks, a national anthem, and a finish line arch the Firecracker has exposed hundreds of kids to the sport of Triathlon.

Connor intends on volunteering at the 2023 Firecracker Kids’ Triathlon this 4th of July morning to GIVE BACK in a meaningful way to a sport and organization that is dear to his heart. Congratulations, Connor, on your present successes and the many that the future holds for you.
