Last night we had our best overall night of the season at Madison International Speedway. We qualified 2nd in time which is the best we've done this year. In the first feature we had a fierce battle with the best guys that race out here over the final 10 laps. At the finish we came home 4th, a couple inches short of a 3rd place finish.. In the second race we started 7th and got to the lead on lap 6 and never looked back picking up our 2nd win of the year. Thanks David Cline, Ryan Laatsch and Travis Edmunds for all your hard work!!!! We worked all night long to make this happen!! We said it in victory lane but it's certainly worth posting on here, thanks to TOBY Race Products for giving us the tools to get here. Toby and Justin, we can't thank you enough!!

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻

The Slater Racing Legends are set to make their first appearance of the season at Madison International Speedway this Friday night, May 22. For the first time since 2014, the Legends division will compete for season-long points, with an overall champion set to be crowned during the Cheese Curd Cup in August.

Friday’s event will mark the 95th Legends race held at Madison dating back to 1996, when Bill Marcis captured the inaugural feature victory. Lincoln Cain enters the season as the defending Madison standout after sweeping both Legends events last year and carrying a three-race winning streak at the “Ring of Fire.”

The current track record stands at 13.662 seconds, set by Cory Talaska in 2014, while 22 different drivers have visited victory lane in Legends competition at Madison over the years.
