Cambridge Area Little League

Cambridge Springs is BLESSED with some wonderful area businesses and families that provide year over year support. A few area businesses that have supported Little League and have always gone above and beyond—>

Finney’s Chocolate Shoppe
The Sweet Anchor
Heritage Chiropractic

The previous year (2025), these three businesses were not properly recognized by the league for their support. Because of this they all received recognition as team sponsors this season with no further donation asked of them. All three businesses inquired about potentially sponsoring an under-privileged family by covering the cost of enrollment for their children in lieu of a formal donation/sponsorship to the league itself. THAT is the definition of community minded. Make sure you support their businesses by making a conscious effort to be a patron.

Disclaimer these are not the ONLY area businesses that have supported our league. Just the three that were not properly acknowledged in 2025.

Good evening Cambridge Little League families!

Due to decisions made by other leagues within our district very few kids received the opportunity to tryout for all-stars this year. The following received opportunities to try out—>

Minors Baseball- Joint with Saegertown
Juniors Baseball- Joint with Mid-East and C Valley
Minors Softball- Joint with Cochranton and Saegertown

These decisions made outside of our league resulted in several opportunities for our kids being missed.

As Board President, a coach, and a father- if I told you I was irate it would be underselling how upset I am about the decisions made to cater to adult egos outside our organization. I promise to get better for our kids next season.

That said, this season all children that made Allstars cost for jerseys and playing will be absorbed by the league itself.

Good evening everyone! It's Brenda!

We as a board could not let the day go by without wishing our very own Little League President, Ty Pelton, a very Happy 30th Birthday!

This is Ty's first year as league president and he is doing an excellent job! This guy truthfully cares about making sure the children come 1st and has a huge heart for watching the children grow and have fun doing what they love to do! Do you know that Ty is an assistant coach on two teams and a head coach of one team?! That's THREE teams he is coaching and the team that he is the head coach on, he doesn't even have a child on that team! The age group did not have a coach so Ty stepped up just so those girls could play!

Ty, thank you so much for all you do! Thank you for all the time and dedication that you have put into CS Little League, both on and off the field! We wish you a very Happy 30th Birthday!

Hello all Cambridge Little League families, this morning I received notice from the photo company that all families who had ordered photos with the errors had their replacements hit the mail today. We all know how USPS operates, so allow some time for it to show up.

If you have not received your corrected photo by the end of next week please let me know!

Hi parents of Cambridge Little League kiddos, it has been brought to my attention there were a few issues with the team photos this year.

One was Juniors boys, being tagged as ‘Coach pitch’

The other was the spelling of a sponsor on several teams team photo.

The easiest way to rectify in a timely manner is to email the photo company directly with your receipt number at [email protected]

I have made the photo company aware of the issue, however so that I can keep track of and make sure everyone gets the corrected picture please send me a text so that I can add you to my list to keep track of. 814-853-9055.

Happy Mother’s Day Cambridge Little League families!!

We have several moms who work tirelessly behind the scenes that often are unrecognized for going above and beyond for all ≈160 kids under our umbrella.

Thank you Cindy, Brenda, Brie, Jennifer, Adrienne, Tiff, Steph, Sarah, Amber, Melanie Q, Shania, Melanie F, Kim, Annie, Heather, Alicia, K’Lynn, and any others I may have missed by name that have a hand in either coaching, the board, or helping their significant others manage a team.

Without all you moms there would be no league! If you see or know any of the above, or any moms I may have missed by name- make sure you thank them for not only being great mothers but for going above and beyond for your children as well.

Attention *Parents* of Cambridge Little League kids, your kids coaches are not able to do everything whilst also coaching the kids.

That said, when coaches ask about an UMP for a game, or someone to run the concession stand.. PLEASE do it.

*Coaches*- Please make sure you ALWAYS have your UMP’s back. Even if a call made was questionable, that is a volunteer- you know how frustrated you get when someone says something to you about something you are doing as a volunteer coach? Imagine how they would feel having something said to them in front of the kids and the other parents.

Also- be sure you don’t allow any chirping at the umpire from the opposing teams parents. If it happens first talk to the other teams coach and allow them one warning to shut it down. Should it continue at your field you have the right to tell the parent they are no longer welcome for the evening.
