Today, we honor Juneteenth — a day of freedom, reflection, and celebration.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in the United States learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

At the YMCA, we believe in building communities where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to thrive. As we celebrate Juneteenth, we recognize the ongoing importance of equity, inclusion, and creating opportunities for all.

Get ready for a season of skill-building, teamwork, and fun on the court! Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to improve their game, our summer league is the perfect place to learn, grow, and make new friends. 🌟
