Things are looking a smidge better for both a new full sized tank for the Allcot family the Spring of 2021 but maybe, just maybe a small one too.

For close to two decades I've often given 'pickup truck' tankers a bit of teasing over the 'box on a truck' design...

I now find myself contemplating how to setup a 2017 Toyota Tacoma as a Paintball Tank, without scuffing the paint, lol.

Currently doing nothing more than thinking about it. Hopefully I might actually start working on it during my April break at the latest.

As an added bonus I was recently told after setting the Panther's fuel injector/carburetor on fire that I have to 'step up my game' as far as tanks go...

This is definitely going to be an interesting project, hahahaha.

End of an era.

Now the trick will be deciding on a new chassis before starting working on the next incarnation of Dawn's Panther, which is likely going to be an M-18 Hellcat as well as a Panther and will be the Allcot Family Tank.

So we've become those kind of people who announce retirement and two years later... Return. :) In the words of Tony Stark, "It's good to be back!" I'm almost without words for the 2016 Long Island Big Game. So many people reconnected with friends we hadn't seen in years. The field played beautifully. And T.J. got the tank kill he wanted to make the game complete. Introducing our children to the industry is a moment I've waited for since they were born. I remember wheeling them around the vendor area in the stroller during games. Now Ashley was riding her scooter everywhere. We aren't sure how often we will use the Panther tank, it will have to stay at Cousins, but I can say paintball hasn't seen the last of us! Here are some moments from the game...

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Looks worse than it is. No idea if it'll run though.

Immediately after Halloween, we will be officially retiring the Panther tank. After a careful discussion, T.j. Allcot and I decided this is the best decision. It had a long run filled with many memories of our friends. We thank all the teams, field owners and friends who supported the Panther all these years.

There may be another tank in our future when the kids are a little bit older. I feel good about this decision but am still nostalgic and a little bit sad.

In honor, paintballers, please feel free to post your favorite Panther tank memories.
