🎣 The 23rd Annual City of Callaway Fishing Rodeo was a tremendous success! Attached are a few pictures capturing the highlights of a perfect day on the water with great weather, big smiles, and an incredible community turnout.

We hope our young anglers walked away not only with some fantastic prizes from our amazing and generous sponsors, but also with new skills, a little more confidence, and a deeper appreciation for fishing. It was great to see parents and families making lasting memories together throughout the day.

A huge thank you goes out to our hardworking staff and dedicated volunteers who helped make everything run smoothly from start to finish. Your time, energy, and commitment to this event do not go unnoticed and are truly appreciated.

⚾ MLB Pitch, Hit & Run is Coming to Callaway! 🥎

Join us on Saturday, July 25, at the Callaway Recreational Complex for MLB’s official Pitch, Hit & Run competition! Young baseball and softball players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in pitching, hitting, and running while competing against athletes in their age division.

📢 City of Callaway Offices Closed for Juneteenth

In observance of Juneteenth, City of Callaway offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a time to reflect on our nation's history, celebrate freedom, and honor the ongoing pursuit of equality.

Due to excessive rainfall and field conditions, all fields at Callaway Recreational Complex and Gore Park are closed today.

What an incredible weekend of competition at the Dizzy Dean District Tournament! We are extremely proud of all of our Callaway athletes, coaches, and families who represented our community with determination, sportsmanship, and heart.

🥎 8U Callaway Sassy Sluggers – Tournament Finalists
🥎 10U Callaway Lady Huskies – Tournament Finalists

With more than 8 softball teams and 16 baseball teams competing throughout the weekend, the level of talent and competition was outstanding. Callaway teams battled hard, showcased their skills, and demonstrated what it means to be part of the Callaway Youth Baseball & Softball League family.

The future of youth recreation in Callaway is bright, and we couldn't be more excited to see these young athletes continue to grow both on and off the field.
