A kidney match has been found! We received the news that a living donor match has been found for Jonell. We are very grateful for Maplelag guests, close friends and family that have gone through the process to see if they are a match.

Surgery is currently set for September 15th. We appreciate the prayers, thoughts and kindness throughout this whole process.

Please continue to pray for all donors everywhere for this selfless gift. Updates in this comment section moving forward. Thank you.

The “Big Dipper” has become one of our favorite recent remodels and restorations. It features a touch of the old and a splash of the new. Originally called "Lapland" from the Concordia Language camp years, the new name reflects our current business model and the fact it's a great spot to observe the stars and "big dipper" on a clear night!

Located along the shores of Little Sugarbush lake with direct access to the sauna on one side and immediate adventure to the trails on the other. This cabin is an ideal space for 4-8 people featuring two bedrooms, a loft, 1 1/2 baths, a large and spacious kitchen, living and dining area. Select openings remain this fall and winter!

Just over a week until the 36th annual Laddies Loppet! One of the longest running mountain bike events in the Midwest. Categories for everyone on a classic old style mountain bike course.

We always look forward to this weekend seeing friends made from those first years and meeting new folks. Lodging and camping available. Wood Fire pizza and Sis and Sip coffee on site Sunday. Last minute openings in the newly remodeled MapleHus next two weekends!

It has been nearly a year the original home to the Richards family has been remodeled and renovated to welcome guests to the resort and we are grateful seeing so many people enjoy the unique and historic home.

Special pricing for midweek and extended stays in October as well. Fall color season is fast approaching and we are expecting a spectacular one! Lakeside access to the beach, old sauna and steps away from trails to hike and bike and be immersed fully in nature in a peaceful surrounding.

An incredible week hosting the local mtb team Northwest Composite Middle/Highschool Mountain Bike Team and a very special "LagChilada Day" on Saturday. Nearly 30 riders completed, 18 for first time and three doing a "double" which has been called one of the most challenging mtb rides in the Midwest. The whole loop features all 25 miles of mtb trail at Maplelag.

The original mtb trail at Maplelag was built with intention, to mirror the early tracks available in the early 90's. Much has changed in mountain biking courses and builds but we are committed to maintaining to our roots. The course has very demanding sections and to the first year riders that rode just portions of the course we are just as inspired by you pushing your limits and accomplishing goals.

Besides biking, fishing, swimming, sauna, and yard games made for a full camp.

Plans already in the works to make an LagChilada day in 2027 bit more official to provide opportunity for even more riders. It's not how fast but just completing in one day!

It's been a special summer hosting family reunions and gatherings and meeting new people from across the country. It's great to see all the renovated and remodeled spaces being used and the weather can't be beat! Summer 2027 is filling up but still select openings and the Fall and even winter is a great time to gather at Maplelag to make memories! .
