Had a pleasant surprise this morning. One of our members dropped off a nice bobcat mount. He has it set up for a mounted quail but somebody never gave him onešŸ§šŸ§. So I decided the old duck mount could use some repurposing so instead of the quail it a hooded merganser.

Hereā€™s a full view of where we plant the dove field. We planted about 8-9 acres last year just to see if there was an opportunity for us to put on successful dove shoots and it did very well so weā€™re going all in and going to plant the 20 acres Mr Ralph had fenced years ago just for doves

I would like to introduce everyone to Piper. She been with me for about a month. Have really just been playing with her in the yard to get her use to me. We took her out this morning and she did amazing. Bumped a few birds and thatā€™s okay but what she does do which I love is she has a really soft mouth and retrieves to hand. Canā€™t wait to see how she does after a full season under her belt. setter

So the guy we went out with last year wonā€™t be able to take us out for our after season fishing charter.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a charter around us. Mr Clay wants to go chase mahi so thatā€™s what Iā€™m looking for. I was told that we need to run a little ways off shore to make that happen so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not looking for a deal just someone fair and that will put them on some fish. Iā€™m there for a good time so Mr Harold and Mr Clay are the most important

I spoke to him yesterday and he said it was nonstop for 4 hrs. If youā€™re thinking about a trip out in the big pond Captain Coop might be the man
