🎧 Throughout Season Two, I’m talking about all the obstacles that keep folks from working on their book project.

In this episode, I’m covering how to get UNstuck after an initial, early burst of writing on an idea.

This is something I see all the time with first time authors — it’s so normal!

You’re excited and passionate about your book idea all you want to do is get going! So you do.

Until you peter out….

In this episode, we talk about how to get back on track by creating a Blueprint for Your Book.

We talk about 5 key elements of a Blueprint, and how to create them for your book. 👉🏼 to listen in!

When you find yourself stuck in your book project it’s often because you’re lacking clear direction on where you’re headed.

That’s why every one of my clients starts out creating a Blueprint for their book. It becomes the foundation for your writing, your marketing plan, your publishing and pitch strategy — you’ll wonder how you could have produced your book without it!

📚 One of the most common ways that I see first-time, nonfiction authors become super stuck in a writing project is when they have a ton of passion and excitement about an idea, and all they want to do is just start writing!

So they start out with a bang… but then they just sort of peter out and find themselves in a murky and disappointing place with their confidence and passion-waning.
They find themselves wondering if there’s something wrong with their book idea, or if they don’t have enough expertise to share their message, or if there is something inherently wrong with them.

It’s a painful experience.

But the reality is there’s NOTHING at all wrong with them.

Head over to my to find out what IS in fact going wrong and what a writer can do to get UNSTUCK.

✨✨✨Back in the fall I started noticing that the questions I get from first-time authors tended to follow a certain trend.

The world of publishing is pretty much a black box to most people and there’s a lot of foundational info that people need to be able to confidently tackle a dream of writing a book.

I thought about how I personally like to learn these days and saw clearly that it’s really not via blog posts, digital workbooks or even social media.

It’s podcasts. I can listen walking the dog and keep listening while making coffee and getting started with my workday. I listen when I head out into the garden to tackle a big weeding job. I know others listen when doing the laundry, driving and working out.

So I decided that the best way to get the foundation info, as well as inspiration and tools you need to write your book — is through your ears.

The first 3 episodes of season one will launch soon!
