Giro 2022 Day 11/13 - Les Deux-Alpes - mixed it up today. It was pouring this morning and the crew voted to take a down day. I got some local Intel from the hotel owner and took the cable car off the mountain to solo ride a secluded valley. It was spectacular. Then connected with Paolo and hit the mountain for some muddy mountain biking. Cold and wet, but great to be able to take advantage of the time here.

Giro 2022 day 8/13 - the Col Ferret. Well, this one was special. At mile 25 we were already over 8,000 feet up, 6 of which was on hiking trail and some dirt road. A lot of hike a bike today, and it was hot too. 5 and a half hours of moving time for 37 miles. Now we look forward to a day off tomorrow in Courmayeur, Italy to eat and rest.
