Alright so September is su***de awareness month... A HUGE awareness month for the military.

Did you know:
22 veterans a day lose their battle to PTSD on AMERICAN soil!!!!! That’s 1 every 65 minutes....

The number of military su***des EXCEEDED the total of those killed in combat...

Although veterans make up only 10 percent of the population, they account nearly for 1 in 5 of ALL su***des in America!!!!!

I promise to raise awareness for veterans on and off campus with this campaign!!!!

Hi everyone! I recently decided that I am running for Cal U's Homecoming court/queen! I am sponsored by Cal U's Veterans Club, Army ROTC, and also Alpha Sigma Alpha!! So my campaign is raising awareness for veterans on and off campus. A lot of students don't really know what veterans go through. My 3 huge topics are awareness for mental heath for veterans, su***de awareness for veterans, and homeless veterans! So my campaign will have statistics and facts about those three topics! I am open to ideas from anyone on or off campus!!

You receive 5 votes the two days of elections and I hope my campaign raises awareness for you and also secures one of those 5 votes!
