2026 VULCANS CHEER TRYOUTS
Join the Vulcans Cheerleading by trying out for our Game Day and Competitive Cheer teams. Game Day athletes represent the program at all home football games, as well as men’s and women’s basketball games, along with a variety of campus and community events. Members selected from the Game Day team may also be invited to join our Competition Team.

The Competition Team is selected from eligible Game Day members and competes in the NCA Collegiate Cheerleading National Championship.

All current students and accepted students for fall 2026 are eligible to tryout!

Tryout Expectations & Skills
• Demonstrate stunting, tumbling, jumps, cheer, dance, and performance spirit
• Show ability to learn choreography quickly and perform confidently under pressure

Time Commitment
• Practices held multiple times per week
• Mandatory attendance at all practices, games, appearances, and competitions
• Perform at football and basketball games, pep rallies, and campus/community events
• Travel required for select away games; Competition Team travels to Daytona Beach, FL for nationals

Financial Commitment
• Participation includes required fundraising and team dues to support travel, gear, camp fees, and program operations
