Called G man yesterday morning and asked what he wanted for his bday, and he said don’t suck and make the A, it was tough but we were the last car to make it in! Was a fun weekend seeing grady and Amy! Was up to 12th at one point in the A but bottom went away and fell back to 16th.

Still fighting a slight miss in the motor and missed the A by 1, made the mistake running the bottom to long and got bottled up behind the two transfer cars in the B and couldn’t make a move, excited for night 2 as we are working the kinks out!

Qualifying is so crucial with these guys and when 3/4’s of the field is separated by 3/10ths it makes it that much tougher, we struggled both nights trying to get a good balance on the car and drive out of it, haven’t struggled with a car that bad in a long time we will take our notes and regroup for the next race. Got to get off the front porch to learn and we can say we tried against the best.

Struggled early in the night but avoided the banana peel in turn 1 in the heat race but was just to tight, team went to work on the car for the feature podiumed even though we “almost” got passed. Wanted to win real bad for Steve and Faith as they have worked really hard to give me a really good car, and we have one more race at xx and hope to snag a win for my buddy Bob who passed Saturday hope we can get it done for him ☝🏻.
