Doing aerial and teaching aerial are two completely different skills. [comment UPGRADE for a free training that breaks down what makes excellent teaching]

Aerial is unusually complex, challenging, it involves pain and fear and disorientation and a lot of failure.

Being able to break down tricks is just one part of the story, and when teaching falls short, the student often walks away thinking they were the problem. Not strong enough, not cut out for it, aerial isn't for people like them.

But really, the instruction just didn't cut it.

I created a free training to break down what students need from us, and what's at stake if we don't develop these areas of expertise.

Join the instructors to are committed to continued learning and growth so they can support each student that walks through their door. Comment UPGRADE and I'll send it directly to you!

Eggbeaters! Your legs are not dramatic enough! You're not using your space to the sides enough! You're not utilizing hip rotation effectively!

The right pathway doesn't feel like a mad dash - it can be done slowly.

(Post got accidentally deleted!!!! Reposting!!) I've talked to so many aerial instructors who share the same sentiment: I wish I had more opportunities to talk to other teachers... [comment CAFE to join this free virtual coffee date!]

To hear how other instructors think, how they work with students, how they solve coaching problems, and how they navigate the parts of teaching that don’t always have obvious answers.

I've also heard a common thread around wanting more safe spaces to talk honestly about the harder parts of teaching: boundaries, self-doubt, self-criticism, student feedback, and challenges that have us feeling uncertain or stuck.

Having community to share openly and safely with is so important, and I wanted to create something that feels low-pressure, cozy, and fun.

You're invited to Aerial Teacher Café ☕️

The format: 60 minutes together, starting with introductions, followed by Q&A. You can submit questions to me, I'll share my perspective, and everyone will have a chance to weigh in and share how they might approach it.

Then we'll break into smaller groups to talk about whatever's coming up for you in your teaching right now.

No recording, no replay. A curated safe space to talk openly and honestly.

Bring a coffee or tea and whatever's been on your teacher brain lately. ☕️

Our first Café is Tuesday, September 8 at 11 AM PT. Comment CAFE to RSVP and also receive updates for future meetings.

So I’m starting Aerial Teacher Café ☕️😍

What do you do with your legs in aerial!?
[comment ⚡️ to join the 7 days to cleaner lines challenge - starts tomorrow!]

Possible answers:
🙈Nothing - they are along for the ride
💪Squeeze the living daylights out of them at all times
🧠Organize and engage with purpose

Your biggest visual breakthrough is probably in the way you organize your legs in the air.

If you want the nitty gritty, I share all about this in my foundations section of Aerial Silks Online.

And, we're building our foundation for clean lines in the 7-days to cleaner lines challenge. Comment ⚡️ to get it at $27 before it goes up to $97 on Weds. no apparatus needed 🙌 we're building precise body awareness from the ground. 5-10 min a day. No crazy workouts. No straddle leg lifts unless you want to 😉
