🏅🎉 Track & Field Awards Day 🎉🏅

Please note: This event is for student-athletes only and will be closed to parents.

We are excited to celebrate an amazing track & field season with our athletes tomorrow immediately after school until 5:30 PM! Students will receive their awards and certificates as we recognize all of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments this season. 📸 Pictures will be taken of each athlete receiving their awards and certificates and will be shared afterward.

After the ceremony, students will get to enjoy some fun with an inflatable slip n’ slide! 🌊

Athletes should bring:
�✅ Shorts and a shirt they do not mind getting wet�
✅ A change of clothes for afterward

🍕 Pizza and drinks will be provided for all athletes.

We are proud of all of our athletes and cannot wait to celebrate together! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🎖️

Shoutout to three of our athletes for traveling down to Parkview High School for the Middle School State Championships Meet this past Saturday. Great athletes but even better people, and that’s what matters above all else!

8th grader Julian Alvarez competed Friday in the 3200m after battling an injury earlier in the season. Proud of you Julian!

8th grader Luke Walker ran the 1600m and 800m and performed great in both races. Keep that heart and drive for greatness kid!

7th grader Hunter Hamilton competed in the 300m Hurdles and not only set his PR but also now holds the Red Bud Middle Record for the 300H. Can’t wait to see what this stud does next year for us!

Thank you Tiffany Harkins for the photos. Saturday the Red Bud Middle Track and Field team competed in the Region Championship Meet. The boys and girls teams placed 3rd overall. We have multiple Region Track Champions to recognize..

Reid Davis won gold in the High Jump event and set a new Red Bud school record this season with a jump of 4’ 10”

London Carter won gold in the Discus competition

Luke Walker placed 1st in three events this weekend! He won the 1 mile, 800m, and 4x800m races. He also now holds the 800m record for Red Bud MS. Also winning the 4x800 were Jesus Taboda Hernandez, Zayne Hardin, and Jonathan Munday.

The following athletes also had top five finishes: Jayda White and Reid Davis in Long Jump
