My Friday just got better. If you saw the LSU rod I had at the Makers Fair, let me say I think the customer likes it. He has given me orders for 2 more.

Hey Ken -- Just to let you know, snagged a bigish (probably 20") carp yesterday with my knew Big Woodie spinning rod. Had it bent double several times while playing, and the rod handled perfectly !!! I love the rods !!!

Well, if you saw my recent post, I did finish up the rod for my old friend up in New York. I shipped it out to him on Wednesday. He looked at the pics I sent, and after explaining my concerns, he said "ship it"! I don't know, maybe i'm just too critical of my own work. Anyway, I'll have the last of the Christmas order rods done this weekend. Lisa also has a friend coming by in the morning to look at some of the rods I had made for the Makers Fair. She had asked for a Saints rod, but there's just no way to make that happen before Christmas. I hope she might like one of these others, but if not, perhaps she'll order something to start off the New Year!
