First time beginner golfer Branson Mathews had a Hole in One on #14, par 4-320 yards today.
Mathews, 18 has an athletic history including football and wrestling throughout school. His brother Brodie Mathews recently took a position as Assistant Superintendent at Eagle Watch Country Club in Woodstock, sparking Branson’s interest in golf.

This stands in Calhoun Elks History as the first ace on hole 14. Well done!

Branson is the son of Shannon and Nicole Mathews. His buddy Ely Fox was also playing in today’s round. Congrats Branson!⛳️

The Calhoun Elks Lodge recently donated $1,500 to the Boys & Girls Club of Gordon County. The funds were a portion of a $4,000 Gratitude Grant which was received from the Elks National Foundation’s Community Investments Program.
