THE YARD would also welcome Dante Morton back. He is home for the off season after playing Independent Professional Baseball in the United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL). Dante is available for lessons!

I bring both college and professional experience, having played in the United Shore Professional Baseball League where I earned All-USPBL First Team honors and played a key role in my team’s success. Over the years, I’ve built a strong understanding of hitting and fielding and I’d love to use that to help athletes of all ages grow their game.
My goal with lessons is simple; to help players improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a real love for baseball. Whether it’s fine-tuning mechanics or learning the mental side of the game, I’m here to support athletes and help them reach their potential.

THE YARD would like to welcome back Karavin Dew! She has been an instructor at THE YARD and had an awesome opportunity to join Major League Baseball. She is currently coaching with the Cincinnati Reds. She is home for the off season and is available for lessons. Karavin Dew

Bryson Lofton, current D-1 baseball player and long time player to grow up taking lessons at THE YARD will be available for lessons through the rest of the summer. He was a 2 time NAIA All American, AAC Player of the Year while at Bryan College. Was selected to the Prospect League All Star Team and O’Fallon Hoots Most Valuable Offensive Player last summer. He transferred Southern Illinois University in Cardondale to play Division 1 baseball. He was selected as Player of the Week twice this past spring. If you are interested in getting your son in to work with him let us know.

THE YARD would like to welcome Tyler Cullen. TC will be available for hitting and fielding lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays. TC just finished his college baseball career at Bryan College and is going to be an excellent addition to THE YARD staff. Looking forward to having TC and watching him help these Young Athletes Reaching Dream!

THE YARD would like to take the time to recognize one of its very own.

Congratulations to Bryson Lofton, who plays for Bryan College. Bryson was selected as the AAC PLAYER OF THE YEAR along with being chosen 1st All Conference. Before the season, Bryson was also selected PreSeason All American and was expected to have a big season and that he did.

He finished the season with a .458 batting average (87-190), 87 hits, 18 home runs, 18 doubles, 2 triples, 66 RBI’s, 55 runs scored, .529 on base %, .858 slugging %, 1.387 on base plus slugging %, 33 walks and only 18 strike outs in a 227 plate appearances.

As sophomore, Bryson had unreal season where he batted .423 (91-215), 91 hits, 20 home runs, 20 doubles, 1 triples, 72 RBI’s, 56 runs scored, .492 on base %, .820 slugging %, 1.312 on base plus slugging %, 27 walks and only 26 strikeouts is 244 plate appearances.

He was selected AAC 1st All Conference, AAC All Tournament Team, NAIA 2nd Team All American and ABCA (American Baseball Coches Association) 2nd Team All American.

We would like to welcome TJ Hamilton as our new speed and agility instructor. Coach Hamilton played at Gordon Central High school and went on to play at the Division 1 level. He has years of heading coaching experience football at the high school level and he will be a huge asset to THE YARD.
