Ready to get down to Lake Murray and see if I can catch some of the big largemouth people have been catching down there. I will be fishing the MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League tournament this weekend. Everyone keep all the fishermen in prayer as we do what we love to do. Giving God the glory for giving me the opportunity to do what I love doing. Look for some pics as I go down and pre-fish. Had a good time fishing the MLF Big 5 Phoenix Bass Fishing tournament on Lake Hartwell this weekend. They had to postpone the tournament on Saturday due to the weather. I caught a limit of fish but just couldn't find the big fish. Ended up catching probably 20 fish but only had 7.02 pounds of fish. Next stop will be Lake Murray in May. Well my year didn't start off very well spent the first two months in the hospital, I had covid then got a staph infection that went sepsis. The infection got around my spine and I had to have emergency back surgery to remove the infection from my spine. I am home now with visits to my doctors and therapy twice a week to get the muscles and flexibility back in my back. I haven't been able to fish this year , but looking forward to getting back on the water soon. Check out the new lures on the Googan baits site. baits.

Good night on Richard B. Russell Friday night we caught some good fish ended up with 12.55lbs, three large mouth and two spots. I lost a fish at the boat that would of put us in first place, but just wasn't meant to be that night. We ended up finishing in the top ten.

Fished Lake Hartwell this past Saturday, I caught fish but couldn't find the big ones. Caught enough fish to move me from 53rd to 43rd in the South Carolina Division. Got to stay above 45 to go to the Regional in Palatka Florida in October. Thanks to all my sponsors for the privilege to represent them.

Fished Santee Cooper Lake this past weekend, the big girls showed up on Saturday. I caught one fish at 4.07 pounds and had one good fish break my line when she ran through some brush and lilly pads.
