Due to the warm temps we will be closing the trails tonight and they will likely remain closed at this point. Although it wasn’t the season we hoped it would be, we want to thank all our volunteers that worked hard getting the trails ready and we would especially like to thank all of our landowners.

❄️ TRAIL UPDATE – WE ARE OPENING! ❄️

After yesterday’s 40° melt-down and today’s fresh fluffy snow, we are officially opening the trails.

Please note:

• Trails have NOT been groomed.
• The groomer will not be going out.
• Some gates may be closed (and could be locked).
• There may be fallen trees or blocked sections.
• Base conditions may be thin in areas due to yesterday’s melt.
• The trail down to the Shellhorn is closed.

Please stay on the trail.

Enjoy the trails while you can before the next heat wave comes!

All of that snow is tempting isn't it. Unfortunately the ground is too soft underneath for us to open the trails. Please respect the closure - riding can damage the trails and jeopardize landowner permissions.

We had around 19 brave kids take on the cold to complete their snowmobile safety class this morning with a track that was actually covered with snow!
Thank you to all who volunteer for this event year after year.

❄️ Trail Status Update ❄️
Our trails are CLOSED at this time.

While Minnesota’s state snowmobile season opens on December 1, our local trails stay closed longer due to ongoing deer hunting in our area, along with several other factors that must be in place before we can safely open.

We’ll provide updates as conditions change, but at this time we do not have an opening date. Please respect the closures—riding early can damage the trails and jeopardize landowner permissions.

Save the Date!
Snowmobile safety class and field day will be Saturday December 13th.
You must be 11 years old by 12/13/2025 to take the class.

There is finally snow in our forecast, however we will not be able to open up our trails due to the wet soft conditions of the ground.
Please help spread the word.

We finally have some snow, unfortunately it is not enough to open our trails. We will remain closed as like our neighboring clubs.

We had 8 kids complete their snowmobile safety class on Saturday despite the sleet, ice, and snow. Thank you to all who volunteer for this event.
