There has been many ongoing conversations and emails amongst area travel organizations about the time frame of seasonal tryouts. We have joined in these efforts and several organizations in what we believe is right for all involved.
The strain that sporadic and early tryouts as put on athletes, parents and coaches is unacceptable and I believe that we collectively will do the right thing and hold to these standards. Chaos will be holding to tryouts the first week off August timeframe moving forward.
We, as an organization will not advertise or make social media posts about the "private tryout/early workouts" portion which in the last 4-5 years has started as early as June.
We hope that this helps get back to where we use to be, letting players, coaches and families get through a season without the strain of the new season until one is done.
