Mucky bottom? Rocky bottom? MuckMat handles both.

The frame flexes and adjusts to the surface underneath. Big rocks you might still feel slightly, but that is still a major upgrade from walking on straight rock.

A lot of people ask us about rivers and streams.

Will the mat move with the current? Short answer: no. MuckMat is not staked down but it absorbs water and sits firmly on the bottom. Current is not a problem.

Our heavy duty mat now features a spring clip that holds the frame together more securely. Drop it in cut end first, slide it in, and clip it into place. That is all it takes.

Here is something worth knowing - the MuckMat works like a giant snowshoe, keeping you from sinking in muck and blocking sunlight so w**ds cannot grow. But if you move it to a different spot, the muck underneath will still be there.

Our recommendation: get enough MuckMats to cover your full swim area, boating zone, or wherever you need clean, firm lake bottom. Cover it once and you are done.
