Caiden won the heat but Unfortunately the rain won the feature last night at Lancaster Motorplex.

Caiden was able to start pole and lead all the laps in the heat race and won his first heat race in the new car aka Chester.

Unfortunately right after Caiden got in the car for the feature a very heavy storm soaked the race track and caused the cancellation of the rest of the night.

It’s Raceday at Lancaster Motorplex for autograph night!

Hopefully we have another good night with Caiden’s Pro 4 cylinder for the last regular season Lancaster race of the year.

Caiden Parked it!

Last night at Lancaster Motorplex Caiden earned his first win in a big car in the Rusty Diamond Pro 4’s! Caiden drove a great clean race starting from the pole and battled with Jeff in the 83 for a the first two laps side by side until Caiden cleared and started to just drove away but Jeff kept him honest through the entire feature.

Very cool that Caiden and I were able to both earn our first wins in the same car at the same track only a year and six days apart!

Overall a great night at the race track! Congrats Caid!

First off I am okay. Car is junked but at the end of the day it’s just metal. Something broke into turn 1 lap 1 of qualifying and destroyed the car on the outside wall. At least the sponsors are getting good screen time but hate it was in this way. This track is super cool and super fast but unfortunately that’s gonna be it for us at this point.

IT’S RACE WEEK IN WILKES COUNTY!!

Cinnamon is loaded up and ready for 75 laps of CARS Tour pro late model action Friday night at the legendary North Wilkesboro Speedway!

Super excited for another opportunity of running another Cars tour race. And now we will be doing in in style thanks to Twisted Stitches! Twisted Stitches provided us with new crew shirts and hats for our team, so that while we will not act official, we can at least look official at the track!

Now we are Looking forward to Thursday for practice and qualifying and then racing on Friday!

6/20 Lancaster Motorplex
Heat S9/F4
Feature S2/F2

Caiden drove the wheels off of the new car last night at Lancaster. We are still chasing some new car gremlins but the car has speed and the driver is finding it now just need to come up with a little bit more. Caiden cleared for the lead coming out of turn 2 on lap one and lead the first 6 or so laps. He battled with the 54 for a few laps until the 54 cleared for the lead and then Caiden made Patsy work for it but unfortunately didn’t have enough to make another run for the lead and settled for second. Congrats to Patsy on the win! Always great racing with Patsy and the 54 group they have a real fast hotrod and we just need to find a bit more to keep up!

The Oswego test went well in the late model and ran a quick time of 20 flat. Car felt good and only found a few small changes we have to make and it will be ready for North Wilkesboro Speedway for the CARS Tour.

Unfortunately we received news that the Vores Tour race at IRP has been cancelled so going to push that trip off and see if there is another race Caiden wants to race later in the year.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there but most importantly happy Father’s Day to our Dad! We couldn’t do any of this without everything you do for both Caid and I!

And Happy Father’s Day to our grandfather! And thanks Papa for all of the help at the track!

Heading to Oswego Speedway today to shake down the Pro Late Model!

Getting close as we are only 3 weeks away from Caiden racing with the Vores Compacts at IRP and just under one month away from racing North Wilkesboro Speedway with the CARS Tour!

LANCASTER 6/13
Started P10, Finished P3

Caiden ran a great race Saturday at Lancaster. We ran into some New car blues during the practice session in just trying to find a setup that both worked for the car and that Caiden found comfortable. As we continued to chase the handle throughout the night, Caiden started last on the heat race due to a bad pull draw. He attempted to move forward in the heat but found the traffic in the mid pack to be too crazy and not worth tearing up the race car for second to last in a heat race.

Onto the feature due to a car in outside lane not starting he once again had to start completely in the back. Caiden showed his patience and worked his way through the field picking the cars off one by one. We told him that we wanted to build a notebook more than a finish but he was able to do both in one race. He drove all the way to 4th on the racetrack and then he ended up 3rd after the tech shed!

Overall a good opening night on the new car, going to work on both cars this week and keep everyone posted on when we will be on track next as our main focus is turned toward Indianapolis and North Wilkesboro!
