Today is a heartbreaking day in the football community in Saint John with the passing of Longtime Football Coach, Mentor and Friend Mike Upward. We are sending heartfelt condolences to his wife of 55 years, Judy.

Mike and Judy Upward gave so much to the sport here in Saint John and His passing has touched the heart of the football community - Mike Upwards legacy is far-reaching. He not only coached and supported football players, but turned so many young men into such fine respectful community-minded gentlemen. He was the second dad to so many, supported always with Judy by his side.

We are so grateful for Mike Upward and the incredible gifts he gave to so many of us.
