September Reset: Clearing My Space, Clearing My Energy
I’ve decided to reset some things this September. And with the first week of the month—and a long holiday weekend—upon us, I’m starting with my space.
In between time at the studio and some much-needed me time (I’ll get to that in another post 😉), I’m finally tackling some of the heavier cleaning and organizing I’ve been putting off.
You know the things… the dust that has quietly accumulated, the little projects I keep promising myself I’ll get to, the things that have been sitting there waiting for my attention.
September is represented by the number 9, which carries the energy of mastery, patience, completion, and discipline. So what better way to practice a little discipline than to finally take care of the things I’ve been avoiding?
And there’s one other intention I’m bringing into this reset.
As I clean, I’m going to resist the urge to distract myself with an audiobook, podcast, or something playing in the background.
Instead, I want to simply be present.
To notice the dust.
To feel my hands working.
To move through each room with intention.
To appreciate the space I’ve created.
Because maybe this is what spirituality really looks like sometimes—not always meditation, rituals, or searching for the next sign.
Maybe it’s simply being here.
Living my life.
Paying attention.
Taking care of what is in front of me.
And creating enough quiet to actually hear myself—and connect with that higher part of me.
So this September, I’m starting by clearing my space… and seeing what else becomes clearer along the way. ✨🪷
