Happy Tuesday friends! As much as I love decorating for Christmas, after decorating extra early this year, I was so ready to pack away all the extra decor and get back to basics. We started yesterday morning but took a break to get in our 4+ mile walk. We finished with the tree this morning just in time for another brisk walk at the reservoir. For those who asked, yes, we walk all winter unless it’s absolutely not safe or raining. We learned that as long as we have the right cold weather gear (and boy do we have gear!!) we can totally enjoy so much beauty on the wooded paths and roads all winter long. The ice crystals along the edge of the water, the green pines against the blue sky, the loons being playful … and so much more. Coming home to our warm home is just the cherry on top.
